About Sharon Collins, M.Sc.
Sharon owned and managed a clothing and manufacturing business in the fitness industry for over 25 years. With experience in fitness, wellness and business, Sharon brings a wealth of personal experience to her clients. Sharon has a Masters Degree in Health and Wellness Promotion, is certified as a personal trainer and group fitness leader and is professionally trained in Mindfulness Meditation. She is Yoga certified for 200 hours and is progressing toward the 500 hour advanced yoga designation.

This unique combination of experience and knowledge provides her with the tools to assist to her personal and corporate clients both at home and in the workplace in balancing lifestyle concerns physically, emotionally and socially.
Because of her experience and analytical nature, she explores the gaps in the health profile of an individual, company or community to identify their needs and helps to facilitate behavior change through self-care and awareness development. Because of her genuine and caring nature she is capable of engaging her clients to explore and accept themselves while working to improve their overall health.
Sharon coaches, counsels and educates her clients providing people with the tools and skills necessary to change unhealthy behaviors thus increasing their quality of life. This brings value to the life of the individual increasing their success both at home and in the workplace. She is a natural leader as well as teacher and has the ability to take charge of a group of individuals or a situation, determine what needs to be done, and motivate others to work toward a shared objective.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle has always been an important ingredient in Sharon’s life. She leads an active lifestyle participating in outdoor activities such as cycling, running, hiking, snowshoeing, x-country skiing and skating. She balances her outdoor pursuits with quiet moments at home and with the practice of Mindfulness Meditation. As a result of her lifestyle she is in excellent health and physical condition.
